Church Guide Uganda was founded in 2012 by a small team of Ugandan Christians who found themselves asking the same question over and over: "How do I find a good church in this area?"
Whether it was a student relocating to Kampala, a family moving to a new neighbourhood, or a believer simply looking for a church with a strong youth ministry โ the information wasn't easy to find. Church websites were outdated, social media pages incomplete, and word of mouth unreliable.
"We wanted to build something that made it as easy to find a church as it is to find a restaurant โ but with the depth and reverence the Body of Christ deserves."
โ The Church Guide Uganda TeamWe started by listing 50 churches in Kampala. Today, Church Guide Uganda is home to over 500 churches, 100+ ministries, 78 organisations and 42 Bible colleges โ with tens of thousands of visitors every month seeking to connect with the Church.
Church Guide Ministries is a programme of East African Gospel Registered โ a faith-based organisation committed to advancing the Gospel and equipping the Church across East Africa.
