About UCU School of Theology & Ministry

Uganda Christian University (UCU) School of Theology and Ministry is one of Uganda's most respected institutions for Christian higher education. Founded in 1958 as Bishop Tucker Theological College, it has trained generations of pastors, theologians, chaplains, and Christian leaders serving across Africa and beyond.

We are committed to providing rigorous academic training grounded in Scripture, while equipping students with practical ministry skills for contemporary African church and society. Our programmes blend theological depth with pastoral formation and missional engagement.

Download the application form from our website or collect one from the admissions office. Fill in all sections clearly and attach required documents.

Gather Required Documents
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) for degree programmes, two passport photos, pastor's reference letter, and copy of national ID.

Submit & Pay Application Fee
Submit your completed application with documents and pay the non-refundable application fee of UGX 50,000 via bank or mobile money.

Attend Interview & Await Offer
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Successful applicants will receive an admission letter within 3 weeks.
