About Uganda Pentecostal University

Uganda Pentecostal University (UPU) is a fully accredited Pentecostal institution in Fort Portal offering Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes in Theology, Ministry, and Christian Education. Known for its practical training and Spirit-filled campus life, UPU has produced hundreds of church planters, evangelists, and ministry leaders across East Africa. Founded in 1998 by the Assemblies of God Uganda, UPU combines sound Biblical teaching with a vibrant charismatic ethos. Students are trained not just in theology but in the gifts of the Spirit, prayer, and powerful preaching that transforms communities.

Download the application form from our website or collect one from the admissions office. Fill in all sections clearly and attach required documents.

Gather Required Documents
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) for degree programmes, two passport photos, pastor's reference letter, and copy of national ID.

Submit & Pay Application Fee
Submit your completed application with documents and pay the non-refundable application fee of UGX 50,000 via bank or mobile money.

Attend Interview & Await Offer
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Successful applicants will receive an admission letter within 3 weeks.
