Cornerstone University Hosts National Leaders to Forge Training Pipeline for Pastors and Students Across Uganda

Kampala, Uganda – July 2026 – It was a day of vision, unity, and strategic collaboration as Cornerstone University welcomed national leaders from the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBAPC) alongside representatives from various para-church ministries for a landmark engagement.

This took place at the university campus, was centered on exploring a comprehensive training pipeline designed to equip pastors and students across Uganda. With over 27 academic and ministry programs on offer, the university reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to a single, unified mission: Equipping Leaders to Serve the Church and Society.

A Pipeline for Kingdom Impact

The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss how theological education and practical ministry training can be strategically integrated to produce holistic leaders. The proposed pipeline aims to bridge the gap between academic excellence, spiritual formation, and community engagement—ensuring that graduates are not only theologically sound but also practically equipped to address the pressing needs of their congregations and communities.

"We had the privilege of hosting the NFBAPC national leaders and our partners from para-church ministries, and what a beautiful day it was," shared a university representative. "The dialogue was fruitful as we explored how our 27+ programs can serve as a direct pipeline to strengthen the local church. Our goal is to see every graduate go out ready to serve both the pulpit and the marketplace."

NFBAPC leaders expressed their appreciation for the university's willingness to align its curriculum with the practical needs of the church, ensuring that pastors and church workers receive relevant, accessible, and high-quality training.
